Marina Beach April 1, 2007

Nihad and I had fun taking these shots. We took turns tossing the ball across the camera's field of view, and panned as Lester shot past. As you can see in the first 2 images, all four of his feet get off the ground when he's in full gallop. The third is more of a trot, I think. Lester cavorting on Marina Beach, April 1, 2007

Here's Lester having great fun at the beach. I adjusted the colors on these using Picasa. I have Photoshop Elements now, but still need to learn how to use it.

Sunsets!

I have been screwing around with the editing tools, and I like these results. That top one, I think I might like to blow it up in a print on canvas board, see if it works out as an imitation expressionist painting. The second one I went too far, and it almost doesn't look like a beach any more. I didn't do much with the third and fourth ones, but they do look a lot better than what came out of the camera.

Lord of the Beach

I really like the way this shot came out. We are on a cliff at the beach in Marina, and Lester is looking out at the ocean, imagining he is Jack Sparrow. The wind has caught his ears, what luck!

Here are two photos of my new apartment. Well, sorta new, I moved in March 20. I've been busy lately going through photos and putting them in frames to hang on the walls. I thought I had put this off too long, but honestly I've been really busy with other things. I told some friends about my delay, and they both confessed to having frames all along their baseboards for a year or more, and still nothing hanging. Well, I didn't want to end up like that, so I've made some time for it. See above the couch, how there's too much space? That gets my attention next. I'll put some updated photos up soon.
